Rockwall Screen Rooms & Patio Enclosures — Insured

Richardson Elite Patio Covers covers the same range of work in Rockwall that we do in Richardson — nothing is carved out because the address is a few miles up the road:

• Lattice Patio Covers — A lattice cover is the least demanding structure we build, and on older Richardson properties that is frequently why it is the right one rather than a compromise. It is light, it is inexpensive to found properly, and it asks very little of a back wall that has been moving quietly since the house was first poured.
• Wood Patio Covers — Wood still earns its place on certain Richardson houses. On a 1960s ranch with a low pitch and exposed rafter tails, a cedar or Douglas fir structure sits with the architecture in a way no extrusion quite manages.
• Pergola Installation — Most pergolas in Richardson get attached to the house, and the attachment is the entire job. Everything above it is straightforward carpentry, or bolting together an extruded kit that arrives cut to length.
• Freestanding Pergolas — When we recommend a freestanding pergola in Richardson it is rarely an aesthetic decision. It follows from standing at the back wall of the house, looking closely at the brick and the mortar joints, and concluding that we do not want to hang anything off that wall for the next twenty years of seasonal movement.
• Louvered & Adjustable Pergolas — An adjustable louvered roof is the most mechanically demanding thing we sell. It is a powered assembly of rotating blades, drive linkages and internal gutter runs, and it works only for as long as the frame holding it stays square.
• Carports — Carports in Richardson almost always go beside an existing driveway, and that driveway is the problem to solve before there is any point discussing the structure above it. Both sets of plot plans show every existing structure to scale, and because the city straddles the Dallas and Collin county line, we confirm where the plat was recorded before drawing a setback.

Rockwall sits in Rockwall County with a population of roughly 47,251 at the 2020 census, close enough to Richardson that crews move between the two constantly. Local landmarks and corridors residents know well include the Harbor at Rockwall, the sandstone dikes that gave Rockwall its name.

Local knowledge is not a marketing line here. Rockwall properties share soil, weather, permit rules and construction eras with the rest of Rockwall County, and a patio cover contractor who works the area weekly already knows what fails locally and what holds up. That is the difference between a bid and an accurate bid.
